PROPOSITION:
Proposition is a sentence which describe a fact and give a result weather the
result is true or false but here is a condition applied that the given sentence
should give a result. If the sentence isn’t give any result then it can be a
sentence but couldn’t be a proposition.
Example:

Washington is the capital
of America.
2.
Torento is the city of
Pakistan.
3.
2+2=4
4.
2+3=6
In the above given examples all have a result that may be
true or false in which 1 and 3 is true and 2 and 4 is false. Let some another
example which is sentence but not proposition.
Example:

What is the capital of
America?

Here the following given example doesn’t make any result but
all examples are sentence.
Any answer of question can be considered as proposition because
answers make a result.
COMPOUND
PROPOSITION:
Collection of two or more proposition called compound
proposition.
Example:
Tomorrow is Sunday, and Sunday is a holiday.
In above sentence there are two propositions that is
tomorrow is Sunday and second is Sunday is a holiday, both make result that is
true.
